Scents of Grenada No. 8
Scents of Grenada project is a celebration of the natural wonder to be discovered and enjoyed in spice island of Grenada. Both rediscovering the beauty in your backyard and discovering some completely new as a visitor, Scents of Grenada seeks to offer events, presentations, workshops and activities to develop and attune our senses for a greater connection to natural beauty of Grenada.
From overseas perfume groups, casual tourists, to local farmers, and makers, Scents of Grenada offers three weekends of activities annually to provide a wide range of engagement in a self-sustaining “Festival” format. The next event is Oct 5th to 7th, 2024
Scents of Grenada seeks to foster, develop, and promote Grenada’s makers and manufacturers domestically and internationally. We look to continuing to partner with Grenadian businesses, NGOs, and institutions to provide training and workshops to introduce local farmers, makers, and manufacturers to methods of producing Scent related products such as Essential Oils, Teas, Perfume, Dried Florals, Room Spray, Soap, etc. We love collaborations.
Scents of Grenada is focused on providing a bridge for international industry leaders and educational institutions to engage and exchange with Grenadian makers. We aspire to develop a Scents of Grenada “capsule presentation” to highlight the programme and feature Grenadian makers internationally with potential showcase/ pop up events in New York and Milano.
We are partnering with businesses and academic institutions in New York and Milano for the support of resources and expertise to develop a perfumery education resource in conjunction with the Scents of Grenada event and hope to play an active role in fostering the potential talent and voice Grenadians will have in perfumery.
